9. Written verification that applicant and stockholder meet the requirements of T.C.A. §57-3-203(f).

The first thing the applicant needs to do is contact the Federal Government Bureau of Tobacco and Firearms, Compliance Section, and tell them they need an application packet for a Federal Basic Permit and when they receive the application and send it back to the Federal Government and the Federal Government issues them a permit, then they can apply with this office. Note: Anyone with a direct or indirect interest in the business who has been convicted of any laws governing the regulation of alcoholic beverages in the ten (10) years preceding the application cannot hold a Wholesale license.
If anyone has an interest, directly or indirectly, in the ownership of a wholesale license, then they may not have any interest in a retail or liquor-by-the-drink license.
