A. Eligible Items - Dairy, Beef, Goats/Sheep
    1. Head gate and/or neck extenders*
    2. Squeeze chute* (concrete to level–optional)
    3. Carriage*
    4. Palpation cage*
    5. Animal scale (concrete to level–optional)
      Single or multiple animal scales used for commerce must be state certified
    6. Hoof trimming table or chute
    7. Hay ring and/or cone insert
    8. Slant bar hay feeding wagon
    9. Pasture sprayers (must meet all of the following specifications to be eligible)
      a. Minimum tank capacity: 100 gal.
      b. Minimum pump output: 20 gal. per minute
      c. PTO or hydraulically driven roller or centrifugal pump
      Air-blast sprayers - not eligible
    10. Covered mineral feeders (stand alone and ground only) - insecticide and/or oil applicator combinations are not eligible
    11. Feed bins - min. bin capacity/4 dry tons, stationary only (concrete pad–optional)
    12. Unload auger for feed bin (max. 29 ft. length)
    13. Creep feeder and/or panels
    14. Bunk feeders-concrete formed and/or steel (concrete to level-optional) plastic not eligible
    15. Automatic cube pellet feeders
    16. EID, portable and/or panel readers
    1. Headlock stanchions and/or palpation rails
    2. Tubular gates for Livestock Management only

1 Water heaters must be capable of maintaining a water temperature of 165 degrees
2 Includes but not limited to automatic washer/sanitizing unit, clean in-place unit, washers, milker claws (units), vertical wash vat, monitoring systems
3 Milking equipment service contracts must be no longer than a 12 month period
4 Cow-side tests including incubator or heater block and test kits and subclinical mastitis detectors

Only items where (*) is indicated may be new or used. Used items must be:

  • In excellent working condition
  • No excessive rust
  • Functional soundness
  • Reasonable market price
