The Consumer Education Fund: Grants may be made to assist individuals with disabilities and their families to attend meetings, conferences and workshops held around the country and in Tennessee. These opportunities empower individuals with disabilities and their families to become advocates and take control of their lives.

The Council may sponsor Tennessee conferences to assist with the expenses of people with disabilities and their families to attend. For an application form, click here.

The Council accepts unsolicited grant proposals throughout the year. If you have an idea for a grant project, please e-mail us at tnddc@tn.gov. The e-mail should include the following information in either the body of the e-mail or as an attachment:

• - a brief narrative describing the concept, not more than one page in length
• - a brief budget outline
