Special Projects
ECD’s Office of Special Projects provides data on large industrial sites, including site and infrastructure analysis, advice on environmental permitting and technical graphics expertise. Special Projects also maintains a database of large industrial sites in Tennessee and provides engineering assistance to communities and prospects as needed in industrial location projects. The Office of Special Projects provides the site engineer to the Building Finance Committee and assists the Secretary in evaluating applications for Certificates of Public Purpose and Necessity
Special Projects is the National Environmental Policy Act point of contact for ECD, acting as the liaison to state and federal regulatory agencies.
