Tennessee Small Business Development Center
The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), a statewide network of professional businesses consultants for small and medium-sized businesses, provides export assistance through its International Trade Center in Nashville. Services provided by TSBDC counselors include evaluating a company's exports potential, assisting with market research and market entry strategies and advising on export practices and procedures. These services are directed at businesses that are new to the exporting business as well as existing businesses seeking to enter new markets. Small Business Administration
The Small Business Administration (SBA) provides various loan guarantees to small businesses seeking to finance export-related activities. The Export Express Loan Program, Export Working Capital Program and International Trade Loan Program are the three export promotion loan programs administered by the SBA. SBA staff also can provide businesses with details about these programs as well as advice about financing options and risk mitigation.
