Trade Statistics--International Trade Administration
This collection of trade data sources administered by the Department of Commerce provides links to Trade Stats Express, which provides national and state level data for the export of merchandise on a quarterly basis, as well as a search tool that provides trade data on a metro level. Other valuable information, such as a presentation profiling trends in U.S. trade, is also available at this link.
Foreign Trade--U.S. Census Bureau
The U.S. Census Bureau's website has a wealth of trade statistics. Clicking on "Data" will provide access to detailed export data, including an interesting chart listing the top 25 export commodities for each state, classified by HS Code.
