Constructed Response Assessment (CRA)

To reflect the shifts of the Common Core State Standards for mathematics (CCSSM), the Constructed Response Assessment (CRA) will continue to emphasize the importance of the TNCore Focus Clusters and provide students and teachers feedback on readiness for the CCSSM.

Directors and system testing coordinators indicated their plans around the administration of the Constructed Response Assessments via an online District Assessment Options survey in June 2013. For those districts that opted to continue with full state administration, all students in grades 3 through 8, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II will participate in the TCAP Mathematics Constructed Response Phase I & II Assessments. For districts that opted out of full state administration, the same tasks are available here to incorporate in benchmark assessment or encourage for independent teacher use. Tasks for Grades 1 and 2 will not be printed and shipped, but are available for district and teacher use.

Detailed testing information is available on the TNCore site.
