OCJP along with UT-LEIC hosted a conference in Chattanooga on May 1st and 2nd titled "Tennessee Innovation in Evidence Based Programming". Approximately 200 criminal justice practitioners from across the state were in attendance and were provided with the opportunity to learn about evidence based programs and data driven approaches. The agenda offered 4 sessions in each of the 3 tracks: law enforcement, prevention/juvenile justice and offender intervention/re-entry. The conference featured nationally recognized and state speakers.
