Tennessee Drug Court Funding Strategies: A Report

The Office of Criminal Justice Programs received technical assistance from the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) to convene a group of Drug Court professionals representing Drug Court Judges, Advisory Board Members, representatives from State Departments and members of the Tennessee Association of Drug Court Professionals, to explore funding issues faced by Drug Courts.  The consultants worked with OCJP staff over several months to collect data at the state and national level.  The Drug Court Stakeholders attended a roundtable discussion of the issues facilitated by the NCJA consultants on December 8, 2011 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
