| Description |
This course is designed to allow the student to demonstrate the need for an organized
approach to managing emergency incidents, to identify laws and standards requiring this
approach, to identify the elements of an effective system, and evaluate his/her department’s
capabilities. Major topics covered in the course are the need for organized incident
management, the laws and standards requiring same, the components of such a system,
relationship between business management and incident management, the NFA model of
such a system, and other examples of incident management systems. |
