| Description |
This is a highly technical course of instructions where investigators study advanced fire origin and cause, and receive extensive hands-on instruction in processing fire scenes, preparing reports and testifying in court.
The course includes complex burn scenarios that require personnel to use principles and methods of fire scene investigation to accurately make origin and cause determinations, collect and document evidence and prepare written reports and associated documentation that can withstand courtroom challenges.
Topics cover fire dynamics, electrical fires, combustion explosions, fire indicators, fire scene documentation, legal aspects, courtroom demeanor and expert witness qualifications. |
