5.7	WAIVER OF OFFICE INTERVIEW	Table of Contents
	Telephone contacts are not acceptable for application interviews unless the face-to-face interview has been waived due to a special needs situation. They are acceptable as contacts between reviews. Renewals may be conducted face to face or by phone. Home visits are not required, but they may be used when no alternative accommodations can be made or no other accommodations are appropriate for the situation.	Glossary
