Vacation, sick, longevity, and bonus payments received in installments by an individual who has been laid off or whose employment has terminated is considered unearned income. Vacation, sick, longevity, and bonus payments received as lump sum, rather than in installments, are considered resources, when employment has been terminated. (Refer to the Resource Section.) |
