RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT |

(1) As a condition of eligibility to receive benefits in the Food Stamp Program, the household must reside in Tennessee. (2) No individual may receive benefits as a member of more than one household or in more than one county or state within the same month. Exception: Individuals may participate as members of more than one household if such person are residents of a shelter for battered women and children and were members of a household containing the person who had subjected them to abuse. (Refer to Section 1240-1-31-.03 for procedures for handling residents in facilities for battered women and children). There is no durational residency requirement in the Food Stamp Program. |
