Chemical & Equipment Company Earns State Workplace Safety Award
NASHVILLE
- Labor
& Workforce Development Commissioner James Neeley recently presented

of Excellence for Workplace Safety and Health. Neeley presented the award
July 28, 2004, at the 27th annual Tennessee Safety and Health Congress
and Exposition held at the Opryland Convention Center in Nashville.
"I'm pleased to announce that this is the second consecutive year
Nashville Chemical has won the Governor's Award," said Neeley. "Clearly,
workplace safety is a high priority with Nashville Chemical. Continuing
their superb safety record is high commendation for the company's employees."
The Governor's Award of Excellence for Workplace Safety and Health is

a calendar year without workplace injuries serious enough to cause an
employee to miss a day of work or restrict his normal job activities.
The number of hours required is based on the size of the company.

Award for Workplace Safety and Health in 2003, has worked since before
