Description

This course is designed to give officers the fundamentals of patrol bicycle usage.  This course has a required written test as well as skills testing.  Upon graduation the officer will be fundamentally sound in bicycle patrol.

 

Fee

State Officers – $300 (Includes required manual)

County & Local Officers – $250 (Includes required manual)

Prerequisites

None

 

Materials

REQUIRED

  • Mountain Bike (Police Bike)
  • Helmet
  • Eye Protection (sun glasses will suffice).
  • Comfortable Clothes (no cut-off jeans or tank tops).
  • Comfortable shoes.
  • Sun Screen.
  • Water Bottle or camelback.
  • On one day students will need some type of bike patrol uniform
