Law Enforcement Bike Patrol Course (LEBA)

Students will start class at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning, the instructor will handout the training schedule for the course.  There will be one night ride required.

This course is designed to give officers the fundamentals of patrol bicycle usage.  This course has a required written test as well as skills testing.  Upon graduation the officer will be fundamentally sound in bicycle patrol.



State Officers – $300 (Includes required manual)

County & Local Officers – $250 (Includes required manual)



32 hours







  • Mountain Bike (Police Bike)
  • Helmet
  • Eye Protection (sun glasses will suffice).
  • Comfortable Clothes (no cut-off jeans or tank tops).
  • Comfortable shoes.
  • Sun Screen.
  • Water Bottle or camelback.
  • On one day students will need some type of bike patrol uniform
