Office of Planning Helps Identify Potential Funding Sources
Information Available through Grant Source Newsletter and Database

The Office of Planning – part of the Department’s Division of Planning, Research, and Forensics – has developed a collection of granting organizations designed to identify potential funding sources, and is sharing that information in the Grant Source newsletter.

Each quarter, the Grant Source newsletter will be distributed electronically to the state Planning and Policy Council and Department staff members to assist them, along with providers, in locating available funds that could supplement present funding sources. It will include any new information found on corporations and foundations identified that strategically award grants to organizations whose goals are to provide services in the areas of education, health and wellness, and, more specifically, mental health and substance abuse services. It will also contain the clickable link for the collection list, which will be maintained on the Department’s website (at and updated quarterly.
