Taxpayers may also make tax bill payments at Revenue's Web site. Convenient payment options include electronic funds transfer (EFT) and credit card. MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card are accepted with an associated 2.49 percent processing fee.
The Department also administers electronic data interchange-based (EDI) filings programs for sales and use tax and motor fuels taxes. An EFT program for all business taxes is also offered that can accept both automated clearinghouse (ACH) debit and ACH credit EFT payments. Tax registration and related activities, such as change of address, for many business taxes are also offered online.
Access to information about vehicles registered in Tennessee to authorized users is also available.
Future plans include expanding these convenient electronic services to more online filing applications, as well as adding additional vehicle title and registration services.
