Disclosure of Consulting Services
Public Officials and Candidates

Under T.C.A. § 2-10-125, if any person or other entity, other than the state, a county or municipality, contracts to pay a fee, commission or any other form of compensation for consulting services to any staff person or employee of the general assembly; to a member of a commission established by and responsible to the general assembly or either house of the general assembly; to a  member or employee of a state regulatory commission, to a  director of the Tennessee regulatory authority; or to a member or employee of any executive department or agency or other state body in the executive branch, then both the payor of the fee and the recipient of the fee must file a Sworn Disclosure of Consulting Services with the Ethics Commission:
