Juvenile Justice Funding

The commission awards grants to agencies for delinquency prevention and to ensure that youth who commit offenses receive appropriate placements and services.

Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Grants in Tennessee. The application for the EUDL grant is available (click here). The TCCY EUDL face sheet and TCCY EUDL budget detail form can be filled out, printed and mailed to TCCY by the deadline.

TCCY will also be taking applications for projects to address Disproportionate Minority Confinement and Contact with the juvenile justice system. TCCY has responsibility for the Juvenile Accountability Block Grant. An application with all forms and information on requirements for JABG State Allocated Funds for governmental and non-profit agencies is available (click here). An application with all forms and information on requirements for JABG State Allocated Funds Pass Through for eligible local governments is available (click here). Local governments qualified to the receive the funds under federal requlations my fill out, print and mail the TCCY JABG Pass Through face sheet and budget detail form to TCCY by the deadline.

In an effort to assist applicants for federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention funding, TCCY is making available a model grant application as a guide.

Title VI Video

All recipients of TCCY juvenile justice funding are required to abide by federal Title VI non-discrimination requirements. This video provides information on language-based discrimination.
