On October 31, 2014, the Bureau of TennCare submitted a Draft Annual Report to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The purpose of the report is to summarize important achievements and developments in the operation of the TennCare program for the preceding State Fiscal Year. The report is required both by federal regulation (42 C.F.R. § 431.428) and by the terms of TennCare’s Demonstration agreement with CMS (Special Term and Condition 46). CMS has the authority to request changes in the Draft Annual Report. In the event that CMS makes such a request, TennCare will prepare a Final Annual Report and post it here within 30 days of its approval.
The Draft Annual Report is being published on the TennCare website on November 4, 2014, and will remain there for a 30-day public comment period. Individuals interested in submitting comments about the Draft Annual Report may use either of the following options:
Submissions must be received by the last day of the public comment period, which is December 4, 2014.
