Habitat Advice at NWTF Convention
Whether you farm, manage forestland, or simply own land for wildlife recreation, you can come and talk to a professional biologist about improving your land for wildlife. The opportunity will come at the National Wild Turkey Federation national convention at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville from February 13-15, 2015.

Habitat biologists from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will be available at a “Private Lands Habitat” booth during Exhibit Hall hours on Friday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Free habitat and wildlife management brochures will be available.

The biologists will make recommendations to improve your operations for wildlife, and can access an aerial view of your property on the computer. They will also guide you to conservation programs that might help fund your habitat improvements, and can arrange for an on-site visit and free detailed management plan on properties in Tennessee.

Further information on the Convention can be found at , and information on habitat management can be viewed at or by calling the TWRA Wildlife and Forestry Division at (615)781-6610.
