State Benefits for Eligible Veterans, Dependents, and/or Survivors
STATE VETERANS HOMES
Provides procedures for eligibility requirements for admission into Tennessee State Veterans Homes for veterans who are entitled to medical treatment and/or other benefits from the USDVA, and who meet at least one of the additional requirements:
- Residents of Tennessee at time of admission
- Born in Tennessee
- Entered the U.S. Armed Forces in Tennessee
- Tennessee is the official home of record on veteran’s military records
- Has an immediate family member or legal guardian who would serve as primary caregiver who is a resident of Tennessee
