Helpful Hints for Searching for Policies
and Procedures

Search in policies for:

  1. This search feature searches for subject matter by entering a “keyword” or “phrase” in the search box. Use words or phrases that are commonly used by DCS for searching policy subject matter, i.e., “CPS”, “Foster care”, “Travel expenses”, etc.
  2. Words or phrases may be entered either in lower case or upper case letters.
  3. This search feature will not search for all forms of a word or phrase. If you enter a plural form of a word i.e., “restraints” and the message “No record found” appears enter the singular form of the word, i.e., “restraint”, or vice versa.
  4. To access all features of this Web page, pop-up blockers must be turned off.
