Commission Matters

 

Information for December 2021 Commission Meeting

Please be aware that the Commission Meeting for December has been tentatively set for December 16.  The deadline to submit items to be on that agenda is close of business on December 2. Anything received after this deadline will not be considered for the December agenda.

The commission consists of three members appointed by the governor.

The Commission meets once per month, usually on the 4th Thursday on the month, though the actual date may be different under certain circumstances.

The commission meets at the following location:

State of Tennessee Office Building
Davy Crockett Tower
500 James Robertson Parkway, 3rd Floor
Nashville, TN 37243

Pursuant to T.C.A. §8-44-108, meetings may be conducted permitting participation of electronic or other means of communication.

As a prerequisite for placement on the next TABC meeting agenda, an applicant shall submit all required documentation to the appropriate TABC office not less than two weeks before the Commission meeting by 4 p.m. This deadline shall not apply to the following items:

  1. Certificate of Occupancy
  2. License Fee
  3. TABC Inspection & Acknowledgment of Rules & Regulations
  4. Responsible Vendor Wine Status
  5. Items that require Commission approval/conditional approval before finalization

The Director reserves the sole discretion to waive the above provisions.
