Master & Advanced Master Certification
The University of Tennessee offers several educational Master and Advanced Master programs for the livestock industry.
- Cattle Producer eligible courses include: Master and Advanced Master Beef, Master Dairy.
- Goat and Sheep Producer eligible courses include: Master and Advanced Master Small Ruminant, Master Dairy.
TAEP approved applicants who have an eligible Master or Advanced Master certificate at the time of reimbursement will qualify for 50% cost share.
The following programs are eligible to receive 50% cost share:
• Livestock Equipment
• Livestock Working Facility Cover
• Hay Storage
• Livestock Feed Storage
Please note - Master and Advanced Master certificates are only eligible for a certain period of time. Please refer to the Eligible Certificates section to determine eligibility of your Master or Advanced Master certificate.
In order to be eligible for 50% cost share within a given program year, your Master or Advanced Master certificate will need to be issued on or after the issue date listed beside the corresponding program year in the chart below. Please locate the program year in which you applied and/or intend to apply for TAEP funding to determine if your Master or Advanced Master certificate is eligible.
