Seating and Positioning Clinics: Now taking insurance

The Seating and Positioning Clinics now take the following insurances:

• Medicare, Part B
• Medicaid
• Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee: BlueCare, TennSelect, and CoverKids
• Amerigroup
• Optum/United Health Care
• TriCare, Standard only

We Heard You: New Referral Forms Have Been Streamlined

We have been diligently working to review our new referral forms, implemented last fall, now that they have been in place for nearly six months. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we have implemented many new procedures now that we are taking insurance. We have recently been able to make some additional internal changes that have allowed us to try and simplify our forms.

The revised forms are now posted online. No one will have to resubmit these in place of the current forms, but we hope these will make the process for new referrals a little easier. Changes include a more simplified consent form, a streamlined intake and medical history form, and a revised doctor order form that will hopefully help us get the information needed on the front end, in order to schedule the initial clinic appointment.
