Institute for CTE Educators Call for Presenters

The Call for Proposals for the 2018 Institute for CTE Educators is now open. Educators, administrators, postsecondary partners, and industry leaders are encouraged to submit a proposal to present by Feb. 2, 2018.

Occupational License New Teacher Training

  • July 16-20, 2018
  • Nashville, TN

New occupationally licensed teachers are required to attend all five days of this training within their first year of teaching. All teachers in attendance should have either a valid teaching license or have submitted an application for licensure. New traditionally licensed CTE teachers who have not yet completed an educator preparation program are also encouraged to attend. During this training, teachers will engage in sessions ranging from planning and instruction to classroom management techniques.
