The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) has hosted several informational webinars and created other helpful resources.  The webinars include topics such as:

The federal technical assistance and training provider for BJA-funded Community Violence Intervention programming is Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC)

The National Criminal Justice Association has created a helpful overview of the most effective CVI models, including:

o   Group Violence Interventions (GVI)

o   Hospital-based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs)

o   Violence Interrupters

o   Community Driven Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED)
