Child Support Calculator and Guidelines

On this page are links to information that helps to explain the procedures for calculating child support obligations under the Tennessee’s Child Support Guidelines. The Guidelines are based on an Income Shares model that establishes the dollar amount of child support obligations based on the amount of parents’ combined adjusted gross income and the number of children for whom the child support order is being established or modified.

The most recent changes to the Tennessee Child Support Guidelines were effective July 22, 2008. The links provided on this page will direct you to the current Child Support Guidelines and to automated child support calculators, a child support calculator app and other useful information.
