Col Keith Allbritten is the Wing Commander at the 118th Wing, Berry Field Air National Guard Base, in Nashville, TN. As the Senior Executive and installation commander, he is responsible for
strategic guidance, capital allocation, and risk management decisions across all disciplines. Additionally, he is responsible for wartime readiness (left of BOOM) and mission execution (right of BOOM) of 1100 Airmen across assigned combat missions. As the only ANG base that combines Group operations across remotely piloted aircraft, targeting, and cyber disciplines under one Wing, the 118th Wing provides combat capability to combatant commanders and emergency response resources to the Governor during times of emergency.
Col Allbritten entered active duty in Aug 1989, receiving his commission from Officer Training School. After graduation from navigator training in August 1990, Col Allbritten began his flying
career assigned to KC-135s at McConnell AFB, KS, and was selected as an alternate to compete in PHOENIX RODEO in 1994. In his next assignment, he served as C-130 flight instructor and
evaluator at Little Rock AFB, AR. In 2000, he joined the Air National Guard in Nashville, serving at various command levels including squadron command, deputy Group command, and Vice Wing Commander. He was instrumental during the Wing’s C-130 Formal Training Unit conversion in 2007 and again during the conversion to the unmanned MQ-9 Reaper mission in 2012. Col Allbritten is a master navigator with over 6200 flying hours in a variety of aircraft, to include T-37, T-43, KC-135A, KC-135R, C-130E, WC-130H, and C-130H2. He has over 340 combat hours and has flown in support of numerous named Operations while deployed, to include Northern Watch, Southern Watch, Deny Flight, Restore Hope, Joint Guard, Joint Forge, Joint Endeavor, Coronet Oak, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.
